On 13th of July 1956, a milestone was set for the automobile industry of China. With the assistant of former Soviet Union, the mid-weight truck Jiefang CA10 rolled off the production line of First Automobile Works (FAW). It was the first vehicle mass-produced in China and one of the most significant vehicles that helped built modern China. In 1957, a new model of Jiefang named CA10B was built, it was a variation of the CA10 primarily serving the military forces as transportation vehicles. Jiefang CA10B was design to help military missions in remote parts of China. It also served development projects in remote areas.
